Information you provide
We collect account details such as your name, email address, city, date of birth, profile photo, availability, invitations, meeting details, messages, reports, and account preferences. Your full birth date is used to confirm eligibility and calculate age; it is not shown publicly.
Location information
If you give permission, CoffeeNow may use your device location to identify an approximate neighborhood or city and show nearby members. We do not intend to display your exact device location to other users. You can deny browser location access and use a city search instead.
Photo verification
If you request photo verification, we collect a live selfie and compare it during an administrative review with your profile photo. Verification materials and status are used for safety and fraud prevention. A verified badge is not a guarantee of identity or conduct.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, nearby discovery, invitations, messaging, and meeting planning.
- Protect users, investigate reports, prevent fraud, and enforce our rules.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve CoffeeNow.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
Who processes information
Service providers that host or operate CoffeeNow—such as authentication, database, storage, deployment, payment, mapping, and location-search providers—may process information to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to operate CoffeeNow, protect the community, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Some safety records may remain after account deletion where necessary. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may update profile information, control whether your age is displayed, deny location access, block users, and request account deletion from Manage Account. You may also contact CoffeeNow to ask about access, correction, or deletion rights that apply where you live.
Contact and changes
Until a dedicated support address is published, use the reporting and account tools inside CoffeeNow for privacy or safety requests. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective date when we do.
